With DB Streckenagent you are always on top of your commute, with up-to-date information, intuitive navigation, and Germany-wide availability. The app allows you to search for public transport and long-distance connections and get information via push notifications, in case of disruptions or unforeseen changes during the trip. It will also suggest alternative routes, if applicable.
First things first: now you will get all necessary information on your relevant connections, directly on the start screen.
Time Frame Alert
The Time Frame Alert considers multiple connections within a time frame of up to two hours. This way you are well informed about your journey.
Are you mostly choosing the same connection for your commute?
By setting up a connection alert, you can select one specific connection that you want to be informed about via push notifications.
Search for Connections/ Routes
Search for the start and destination of your trip in the app. You can choose between typing in an address, station names, or cities. All local and regional public transport is being considered in the search by default.
In case of disruptions or delays for your selected connections, you will receive push notifications on your phone or tablet that will inform you about the reason and approximate duration of the disruption. Furthermore we will suggest possible alternatives to your route, until the problems are resolved.
DB Abo- Ticket Integration
In the DB Streckenagent app, you have the option to integrate your transit pass (Abo ticket) to have it at your disposal when needed.
Favorites and Real Time Data
When looking for connections from A to B, you will always get information in real-time. It is also possible to create favorites for all public transport stations that are available in the search suggestions. By setting favorites, it only takes one tap to select them as origin or destination.
You can easily customize search results and suggestions, for example by filtering which modes of transportation you want to use, how many stops should be included, or how much transfer time should be considered.
